🚨 Community Alert – Burglary in Selsdon & Addington Village Ward

We are sorry to report a burglary that occurred within the Selsdon and Addington Village Ward.

📅 Date: Sunday, 08/02/2026
⏰ Time: Approximately 18:50 hrs
📍 Location: LITTLEHEATH ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

The resident returned home to find that their property had been broken into. Offenders gained access by forcing the side gate and breaking the lock to enter the rear garden. The lower panel of the PVC back door was then removed, allowing entry into the property.

Suspects: 4 white males were seen exiting the property and getting into a dark coloured possibly black or blue saloon type car.

Items reported stolen include:

Jewellery

Watches

Perfume

Designer clothing

Please remain vigilant and consider the following security measures:

Ensure side gates are locked with a sturdy, secure bolt or padlock.

Install motion‑activated lighting or CCTV at side and rear access points.

Consider upgrading door panels and locks to anti‑snap or reinforced specifications.

Keep valuables out of sight and record serial numbers or take photos for reference.

Report any suspicious activity or unknown vehicles seen in the area.
